Stepping into a therapeutic space is an act of courage and self-preservation. My practice offers different ways to engage in this work, all rooted in the same core principles: that safety is a birthright, that healing is a reclamation of your truth, and that your journey is worthy of being witnessed with deep respect and care.

For family or relational therapy, the assessment broadens to include the dynamics between individuals. Assessment for Gender-Affirming Care Letters

If you are seeking a letter of support for gender-affirming medical care (such as hormone therapy or surgery), a mental health assessment is a standard and often required part of that process. This assessment is specifically focused on understanding your gender identity, your journey of self-discovery, and how gender affirmation is connected to your mental and emotional well-being. My approach to these assessments is always affirming, trauma-informed, and centered on your lived experience and self-determination. • Individual therapy is a dedicated space for you to explore your inner landscape, one-on-one. This is a container for deep introspection, allowing you to connect with your own wisdom and navigate the challenges that arise in your life. Whether you're seeking short-term support for a specific issue or longer-term companionship on your healing path, we will work together to uncover patterns, process experiences, and build skills grounded in your authentic self. This is a space to honor your energy, set boundaries that protect your peace, and cultivate a stronger relationship with yourself. We can meet weekly, biweekly, or monthly, depending on what feels most supportive for your journey.

  • Our lives are deeply woven with connections, and sometimes the dynamics within these family relationships, including the vital caregiver-child bond, become challenging. This therapy invites two or more individuals who identify as family to come together to explore these dynamics in a safe and facilitated space. The term "family" is expansive here – it includes whomever you define as your family, and specifically honors the role of caregivers, recognizing that not all caregivers identify as parents (e.g., foster parents, extended family members, etc.).

In this space, we'll explore communication patterns, shared history, and how the system as a whole is functioning. For caregivers, this includes a dedicated focus on navigating the unique joys and complexities of the caregiver-child relationship, building skills, processing the emotional landscape of caregiving, and cultivating strategies that support both your well-being and the well-being of the child(ren) in your care. It's about finding grounded ways to nurture these important relationships while honoring your own needs and boundaries. This work can deepen understanding between family members and foster ways to navigate challenges with greater connection and compassion. We typically meet biweekly, but we can adjust frequency to fit your needs.

  • Relationships outside of conventional family structures also deeply shape our lives. Relational therapy is a powerful space for partners, whether in conventional couples, polyamorous, or ethically non-monogamous relationships, as well as deep friendships, to explore the dynamics between two individuals. We'll explore communication patterns, attachment styles, and ways to foster greater accountability and connection within the partnership or friendship. This work can deepen self-awareness, which in turn can profoundly impact how you show up in your relationships, allowing for more authentic and fulfilling connections. We typically meet biweekly, but we can adjust frequency to fit your needs.

  • Healing often happens in community. Group therapy offers a powerful communal space to connect with others who are navigating similar experiences. In a facilitated group setting, you can find normalization for your challenges, gain new perspectives, and learn skills not just from a therapist, but from the shared wisdom and experiences of other participants. Group topics can vary, offering support around areas like grief and loss, parenting, social skills, or navigating specific life transitions. This is a space for shared vulnerability, mutual support, and collective growth, reinforcing the truth that you are not alone in your lived experiences.
